History of Photography
The first photograph taken with a camera obscura was taken by Joseph Nicephore Niepce in 1872, before Joseph Niepce people only used camera obscura for viewing or drawing not taking photos. After Niepce photographers experimented with different techniques for taking pictures. Now a days, Niepce is best known as an inventor of photography. The very first photograph ever taken is one of a kind and there was no copies ever made. Taking pictures now a days is a lot easier than it was for Joseph Niepce back in 1872. It took him hours just to make one photograph while now a days you can take a photo in a second on a cell phone or on digital cameras. Before photography pictures could only be made by hand, artist had to draw or paint a picture. Photography is and art or practice of taking pictures and processing photographs. Some of the famous photographers are Harry Benson, Helen Levitt, Brian Duffy and many more. Pictures now a days can be taken off your phone, digital, cameras, ipods, computers, go pros, trail cams etc. There are also not just one type of photography which some people might think but there are multiple types such as landscape, wildlife, aerial, sports, portrait etc. Photography isn't always just a hobby now a days it's a profession or a job which you can specialize in and go to college for. To be a good photographer you have to be prepared and flexible, be patient, and connect with your emotions.
